I Workout!

"When I walk on the street this is what I see everybody stops and they staring at me".  Sorry I couldn't help myself!  It's one of my favorite songs!
I just wanted to show you guys what my workout schedule looks like for a normal week.  I am a little on the obsessed side of working out.  Honestly, I love working out and you can't beat that "just worked out feeling".   I have always been into working out or doing some sort of physical activity even when I was little.  I was in gymnastics ever since I was 3 or so.   So I am very used to being active.  I have two kids and I worked out through both of my pregnancies.  I think that is one of the smartest decisions I have made.  I know it's hard to get to the gym when your pregnant and not feeling good at all (or even if your not pregnant).  But once I got there and got my step or bodypump all done I felt so good!  I worked out until I was about 37 weeks along and then I just walked on the treadmill after 37 weeks.  After I had my babies, it was so much easier to lose the weight and get into my pre-pregnancy jeans!
As for my workouts now I like to workout 5-6 days a week.  I go to the YMCA every other day if I can!  My workout schedule looks like this!

Mondays: Step Class at the Y

Tuesdays: Brazilian Butt Lift & Tummy Tuck/Ab Jam (both are workout DVD's)

Wednesdays: Tabata (best/hardest workouts)

Thursdays: Brazilian Butt Lift & Tummy Tuck/Ab Jam

Fridays: Rest

Saturdays: Brazilian Butt Lift & Tummy Tuck/Ab Jam

Sundays: Step Class

Now I realize that is extreme for some people.  I on the other hand like to get some sort of workout in everyday.  I feel a lot better about the things I eat and my body if I do.  If you are just starting out I would suggest getting to the gym about 3-4 times a week.  You will see how much your body changes and gets stronger everyday!  Now I know getting to the gym is only half of the problem, eating is the other half!  I will be writing part 2 of my blog about what I eat to stay fit.  Hope you enjoyed!!

I asked my friend to dance with me to the LMFAO song "I workout".  We are being dorks!  Hope you guys like it!  Ha

How I do my Winged eyeliner!!

One thing I get asked about frequently is, "How do you do your eyeliner?"  It's hard to explain, so I will do my best today!  When starting out with eyeliner my best advice to you is to start out with gel eyeliner.  It's easier to control than a liquid.  Make sure when you buy your gel liner that you buy a small eyeliner brush as well.  The next best advice I can give is practice practice practice!  Trust me, when I started using eyeliner I was far from perfect!  I made plenty of mistakes and had to take all my makeup off and try again!  I know it's super annoying to make mistakes but once you get the hang of it you will never go back.  As far as what kind of eyeliner I use,  I love liquid liner.  I have always used it and loved it.  It's hard to control at first because it's so runny.

Why do I do a winged eyeliner?  I personally like it because my eyes angle down.  So I wing my eyeliner so that they look more open and awake.  Now winged liner is not for everyone, but it's fun to try!

The brand I use everyday is:
Maybelline Master Precise
I LOVE this stuff!  Not too runny, just the perfect consistency.

When I start my eyeliner I have all my eye makeup on and I start right where my eyelashes begin.  Not right into the corner of my eye, just a little after my tear duct.

I continue with a steady hand along my lash line.

Once I get to the end of my eye I flick out my eyeliner upwards towards my eyebrow.

I then draw above my winged part and make it a little thicker on the end.

I Fill in the line.

I do the same to the other side.  It's easier for me to draw an outline of the wing first, then to fill it in.

I know it looks dramatic in this photo, but once you put your mascara on it's not as dramatic as below pictures show.

Side view all finished!

I hope you guys enjoyed this blog today!!

What's in the Box??

I don't know about you guys but when I order something online, I can NOT wait until I get it!  I check online to see how many days till I get it,  I anxiously sit by the door waiting for the UPS guy.  So today I got my package!  I was so excited because just the other day my friend asked me where I buy my hair supplies from.  I just happened to have ordered from the online store last week!  I order my supplies from:

I saw on YouTube that a girl was talking about this website.  I checked it out and was super excited about all the good prices they had on name brand hair supplies.  So I'm excited to show you guys why I ordered these products!

Redken Smooth Down Shampoo
This is how all the products come packed in, with the saran wrap around the cap so nothing leaks out.  I bought this shampoo cause my very great friend (who is a hair stylist) told me I would like it.  I have very frizzy/curly hair.  This should help it out!  I haven't tried it yet but I am very excited to!!

Redken Smooth Down Conditioner
Naturally to go along with the shampoo I bought the conditioner!  Oh, and by the way this stuff smells amazing!

Macadamia Deep Repair Masque
I already have one tub of this amazing product!  You put this stuff in your hair while your in the shower, you will leave it in for about 7 minutes.  Once 7 minutes is up rinse it out!  Oh my gosh you guys would be amazed on how soft your hair will be after you use this!  The smell is awesome too!  I get compliments all the time after I use this stuff!  I realize it's more expensive than most deep repairs but it is the best out there!  And for good a reason.

OK for the stuff you guys really want to know about... Price!

Here is the breakdown on what I paid and what is actually retails for!

Redken Smooth Down Shampoo
What I paid: $13.72
Retail: $16.99

Cute Easter (Boho) Hair!

I just realized that in about 2 weeks Easter will be here!  I love Easter, candy, Easter baskets and fancy dresses.  To go along with fancy dresses is fancy hair.  I love to curl my hair when I have special occasions.
I have gotten some questions on how to use the curling wand.  So I will be showing you how to use it!  Once you get the hang of it, it's super easy and fast!

Here are the products I used in my hair to get the look:

Chi Iron Guard.
It's a heat protector, so that your hair won't get damaged using all that heat from the curling wand
Kenra Silking Gloss.
For some shiny curls
And last but not least, Big Sexy Hair Hairspray
To hold my curls all day

I put the Chi Iron Guard in my hair first. I sprayed it all over my hair then brushed my hair out.  Next I put in the Kenra Silkening gloss all through my hair.  I maybe put like two squirts in my hand.  Now that my hair was all prepped I was able to start my curling!

I take a section of my hair and wrap it around the curling wand.
Like this

The curl will end up looking like this when you done.  It's a lose beachy wave

After I got done curling all of my hair (which let me tell you I have a lot of, so it took me awhile).  I then teased the back crown of my hair.  Take the comb/teasing brush and comb down towards your head.

After I got all done teasing my hair, I took a section of hair by my ear on both sides of my head.

I then braided both sections, and pulled it towards the back of my head

I secured both braids by tying it together, and then bobby pinned it to my head!  And all done!

This is how my hair will be for Easter, Hope you guys enjoyed!  Let me know if you try it out!  I would love to hear about it!!

How to make your Curling Iron a Curling Wand!

So the other day I was looking into buying a curling wand.  I was looking and looking and thought "Gosh I do not want to spend fifty bucks on a new iron when I already have one".  I just couldn't justify it.  My curling iron works just fine, but I don't like to curl my hair with the clamp anymore.  It makes a different curl when you don't use the clamp.  It's more of a beachy wave than a fancy curl.  So I thought, "hm mm I bet I could just make my own"!  So I did!
Here is how I did it!

This is how I started, with just a regular Conair curling iron.
 I took this screw driver
I unscrewed both sides of the curling iron like this
Once I unscrewed both the screws. I took the whole clamp off the top. It pretty much just popped right off.  This spring is what was underneath the clamp.
I don't know if you can tell from this picture, but the spring is also screwed into the iron.  I also had to unscrew this from the iron.

And Viola I have my very own curling wand WITHOUT spending any money!!

I am so glad I tried this out!  It was super easy and I didn't have to spend any money!  If you are like me and like the curling wand better and don't want to spend money on a new one, I would try this out!!  It took me maybe 2 minutes to do everything!

Hope you guys enjoyed!!

Kansas City, Outfit, Kids...

Well, Thankfully we all made it safe and sound in KC.  We decided on leaving earlier than 3am.  So we left at midnight!  We thought it would be a good idea, but little miss Nevaeh didn't fall asleep till 5am!  I kept turning around going "Close your eyes".  Then she would peek at me and then pretend to sleep.  But other than that we made it here at 8:30am.

On another note, a lot of people ask me where I get my clothes from.  So I decided today to show you guys my outfit, and where it's from! Let me know if you think this is a lame idea or not!
I got this shirt from Pacsun.  It was a super good deal, buy on get one free.  They are cute baggy type shirts (which I'm super into right now).  My jeans are Big Stars.  My favy!  Also my favorite tanks are from Aeropostale,  They are cheap and comfy!

Now onto some pictures from our trip so far!

Me and my Nephew
Target trip!

Cuties!
Love them!
Reading time with Nana!

So that is my update!  I know this blog is super random!  But if you know me you know I am one random girl!  Have a great week!!

Kansas City!

As I write this, I am currently doing loads and loads of laundry, dishes, packing and cleaning.  Our house is full of excitement today!  We are leaving for Kansas City tomorrow morning at 3 am!  Why so early you ask?  Well it takes 8 hours to get to Kansas City!  Eeek!  Well it wouldn't be that bad if it was just adults going! But we have two kids going as well!  So we try to leave either as late as possible, like right around their bedtime, or as early as possible!  We should get there right around noonish!
Why are we going to Kansas City?  Some of you know and some of you don't.  My sister lives there!  She and  her family moved there last fall for schooling.  She has three kids.  My kids and her kids (cousins) are very close!  So it was hard at first for all of us when they left!  But we always have so much fun when we do get to see them!  Austin and Nevaeh are non stop talking about playing with Sarea, Brielle and Baby Shane (even though he isn't a baby anymore and he is walking).  Baby Shane is the closest thing we have to a baby in our family at the moment!  And when I say moment I'm not hinting that I or Danielle will be having anymore soon.
I am so lucky that my mom is coming along with us tomorrow!  It will be a fun ride, but I know how antsy the kids get when they are in a car for 8 hours!   I am hoping they will sleep for the first 5 hours!   I am very happy to have a DVD player in my car!  Lifesaver!  I am also planning on bringing some things to color and some little games to play.  We will see how it goes!  I will keep you guys updated on our trip and all the fun things we do!  As we go to Kansas City Ethan will be in Texas for work.  So pray for safe travels for both of us!!
Thanks

Peace.

Some of my Favorite Organic snacks!

So to follow up with my last post, I decided I am going to share some of my favorite organic snacks!  Stuff that Ethan, the kids and I love!  I haven't been too adventurist about my snacks though. I buy things I know I am going to like, or that my kids are going to like.  I know I am super boring!  I am that kind of person who goes to the same restaurant and gets the same food every time!  Good thing Ethan will try new things though.  So it balances out a bit.  I just want to show you guys what we love so far.  So when you go shopping at least you know some things that are for sure good and kid friendly! So here is my list of likes!  And on a side note, this isn't everything I like, just some.

This is applesauce that the kids devour!  I can't believe how much I go through this stuff.  Plus it's awesome because it has a straw type thing at the top, so they drink right from it.  So no mess!  Awesome for me!
You can buy this at Target or Costco.

This yogurt for kids is amazing.  The kids love it and it's a healthy for them compared to Trix yogurt or something.  You might have to stir it a little bit before they eat it though.  You can find this pretty much anywhere, Walmart,Target, Cub, Coborns.

Pirate's Booty,  It's white cheddar puff corn.  I don't know about your kids, but oh man my kids devour anytime I get puff corn!  I feel so much better when I buy this stuff for my kids, instead of the other brand puff corn.  This is Organic and so much healthier for them!
You can buy this at Cub or Target.

I am a big sucker for some chips and cheese!  These chips are great for that very reason!  They are also great just for munching on as well.
I bought this at Cub.  I think the "Wild Harvest" brand is only at Cub Foods.

Garden Veggie Straws!  I have to admit that the first time we bought these the kids were not about to even try them.  Austin was like "why are they green"?  Which is a good point because he is used to yellow chips and such.  But once they tried them they just loved them!  They taste kind of like Pringles, except in a straw form!  Very tasty!
I bought this big bag at Costco!

Annie's Organic Fruit Snacks!  Amazing!  Let me tell you, my kids love any kind of fruit snacks pretty much!  So I was super excited when I found these the other day!  They have been loving them!  I also tried and thought they were full of flavor and nice and chewy!  A must try for your kids!
Found these at Target!

Ok, My one and upmost FAVORITE foods out of this whole blog, is this Granola!!  Words can not express how much I frickin love this stuff!  I eat it every single day with my yogurt!  It's the best granola I have ever tasted!  It's amazing by it's self, but oh so tasty on my yogurt in the mornings!  I always look forward to  eating it!
I have found this at Wal-Mart, Target, and Cub.

Well, that is my glimpse of some of my favorite Organic snacks!  I hope you guys enjoyed!

P.S.  Please leave a comment with some of your favorite Organic snacks!  I would love to know and try them out!!  Thanks!

Peace.
